Meetings Calendar
The following meetings concerning tourism are to be organized by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, in cooperation with the European Commission, during Poland's 2011 EU Council Presidency:
- Informal Meeting of EU Ministers of Tourism (05-07.10.2011),
- European Tourism Forum (05-07.10.2011).
Both meetings will be held in Cracow and will be organized with support from Cracow City Authorities.
European Tourism Forums typically gather leading representatives of the broadly defined tourism industry, civil society institutions, EU, national and regional tourism authorities, as well as international organizations to discuss challenges facing this important sector of the economy. The participants of these annual meetings focus on selected topics of special interest, such as services quality, sustainable development and competition in the tourism industry.
The two-day Informal Meeting of EU Tourism Ministers will be held as part of the European Tourism Forum.
